Copyright and Plan License Agreement

Project plans, house plans, images, elevations, renderings, and other general works created by Turning Point Design are copyrighted intellectual property and are protected under Chapter 37 of the Code of Federal Regulations and the Federal Copyright Act, Title 17 of the United States Code. Turning Point Design retains title and ownership of these original files and documents as well as retains the copyright in the plans, which includes the right to control copying, altering, and construction of a house based on the plans. The plan, or other general works, licensed to you may not be resold or used by any other entity or individual. Upon purchasing a plan set or other general work, from Turning Point Design, you are entitled to a license for single-use on your particular project only. When you purchase a home plan from Turning Point Design you are purchasing the license that entitles you to build the designed home, renovation, and/or addition a single time on your specific lot/parcel/address. In the event that you would like to build more than one project or alter a current plan, from a single design already licensed to you, please contact the owner and CAD draftsman in order to facilitate a potential discounted fee.
